With Mother’s Day just around the corner (it’s on May 8th this year, for those who are just realizing they need to call up the local flower shop,) the time is right to give voice to the appreciation we feel, but don’t express nearly often enough, for the women who brought us into this world.
Well, evidently the fine folks at Kia Motors America feel the same way, because for the second straight year, they’re sponsoring the Mom 2.0 Summit in Laguna Niguel, California, an event that brings entrepreneurs, marketers, and content creators together for a weekend of presentations and conversations about the road ahead for creative professionals.
The sold out conference will be attended by over 700 leading online and on-air influencers, and Kia will be giving attendees the opportunity to test-drive and create promotional content for the Kia vehicle lineup. Kimberley Gardiner, Kia’s director of marketing communications, will lead a panel titled “”A Candid Conversation about Collaborative Campaign Development.”
As far as Gardiner is concerned, Kia and the Mom 2.0 Summit are a natural fit for each other. “As a company that never stops thinking about the future, the summit’s focus on family, social responsibility and digital engagement is a natural fit for Kia and we look forward to comparing notes and sharing ideas,” Gardiner said.
We look forward to Mother’s Day 2016, and now we’re looking forward to whatever incredible, family-oriented content comes out of this year’s Mom 2.0 Summit!
