What’s in a name? A whole new idea, according to Kia. Its new concept car, the Novo, was taken from the Latin word ‘novatus,’ meaning renewed or refreshed. Kia created the Novo concept to instill a sense of serenity in the vehicle, where drivers can refresh and rejuvenate – an oasis from their busy urban lives. It’s based on a specifically adapted version of the Cerato (Forte) platform. ‘Novatus’ is also the origin of the English word, ‘innovation’, upon which the identity of the Novo concept is built. It was unveiled at the Seoul Auto Show last week. Stay tuned for more information about this stunning new innovation from Kia.
