Kia Motors is celebrating a first! The auto maker was recently named the “Best Value Brand” in the Kelley Blue Book Brand Image Awards! Kbb’s Market Intelligence Brand Watch study gathers annual data about shoppers’ perception about auto brands and the factors that influence whether they buy and stay true to a particular manufacturer. Kbb senior analyst Arthur Henry says, “Kia has come a long way in the eyes of the consumer. Once known only for offering economy cars with good gas mileage, the brand has evolved through product growth and maturity into a high-value brand. This is a similar path fellow import brands Honda and Toyota took in the 1970s. In fact, Kia edges out Honda this year for the Best Value Brand title.” To read the entire press release click here.
