Kia Hill Assist Control Keeps You from Rolling, Rolling, Rolling

12 Feb

Have you ever been stopped in up-hill traffic or parked up-hill only to find the person behind you pulled up waaaay to close to your back bumper?  As you remove your foot from the brake do you pray that in the second it takes to engage the accelerator your vehicle won’t roll back and hit the car behind you?  Kia doesn’t want you to ever experience that heart-stopping feeling again so it’s included Hill Assist Control (HAC) on every model it makes, manual and automatic!  HAC works by keeping the brakes engaged for about two seconds after you remove your foot from the brake pedal.  Time enough to get the vehicle moving forward and away from the tailgater behind you before your car can roll backwards!   Watch the video above to learn more.
