Nearly 60 years ago Kia got its start making bicycle parts. Eventually, vehicles with 2 wheels became vehicles with 4-wheels and the Kia Motors of today was born. But the Korean auto maker continued to quietly produce bicycles up through 1970. Now, Kia’s Chief Design Officer Peter Schreyer has designed the K Velo, a lightweight bike the company hopes you’ll use for shorter jaunts that don’t require driving. Right now, the mini velos are only available in Korea but we’re hoping that will change.
